put me in, coach
If you’re a human, you’ve probably got a goal or two. So, that’s all of us, right? Glad we cleared that up quickly.
I’ve had some big, huge goals for a big, long time. I want to be a better blogger, set clearer boundaries with friends, lose a chunk of weight, live by a consistent budget, write a book. I’VE GOT DREAMS, PEOPLE!
I also have this tendency to just get really sleepy when I think about those goals. It’s not that I don’t want to do the work, I just can’t decide where to start—or maybe why to start—and I get overwhelmed. And sometimes I cry about it. And if I’m gonna cry about it, I should probably just go to sleep.
It’s quite the cycle, y’all.
I made some big life changes at the start of this year that landed me with more free time than I’ve known since college, and if there was ever a time to get busy making my dreams come true, I knew—this was it.
Here enters my friend who’s in the literal business of helping you kick butt on your goals.
most disciplined human I know.
Danielle has recently launched her coaching business and is so good at this. Through a series of sessions, Danielle helps women know themselves better & courageously pursue the life they want. Her coaching strategies will help you to create clarity and next steps to move you forward to where you want to be. She can help you plan out the roadmap to get from where you are to where you want to go.
You may wonder what the point is to having a life-coach or you could be asking who even needs that, and if you're a person who has thought of dreams, made a plan, and have seen those goals and dreams realized, then maybe this isn't for you. Odds are, though, you're sitting on some dreams, goals, or glimmers of ideas and just aren't sure how to get them rolling. So to encourage you, here are some of the best things I've taken away from my coaching sessions with Danielle.
The bulk of what is keeping you from making progress on your goals could be a bunch of lies.
Danielle helped me talk through all of the reasons I believed were behind me not accomplishing the things I want to do. 98% of them were completely unfounded, made-up, totally impractical lies. The practice of acknowledging those fears, calling them what they are, and giving them a swift kick out the door is a tool I will be using forever and for always.
Sometimes we just need help making a plan.
I don’t naturally have the skill set to dream things up AND know how to get them done, but I can get there. I can become more disciplined and I can learn how to envision the end result, set small goals, and take big steps toward where I want to go. I have never known a human with better discipline than Danielle, in big and little things. She’s a wealth of knowledge, guys. Take notes.
The general public will not “get” what you’re trying to do, but Danielle will.
It’s been said and oversaid that no one will care about your goals more than you do—and that’s true—but I needed someone to understand it, and Danielle did that for me. And she can do that for you, too!
